So yeah, if you guys are doing this challenge let me know!

Also, I don't know if you can tell, but the top has thin stripes and the grey blob is a dragon fly, also there is hot pink stitching around the sleeves. :o)

Chocolate Brownie Muffins, a recipe

Hey everyone!
So today we're going to be baking. Some people find baking boring, hard work and difficult. What I say to those people is; Give this recipe a try!! It's a brilliant chocolate muffin recipe which, as long as you pay attention is as easy as pie.

Ingredients:

125g Dark chocolate (I just used cooking chocolate)

125g Butter (stalk works perfectly)

2 1/2  cups plane flower

4 level teaspoons baking powder

1/3 cup cocoa

1 1/4 cups sugar

1 1/4 cups milk

2 eggs

Method:
1. Place the chocolate and butter in a heat proof (pirex) bowlor in the top of a double boiler. Sit over a pan of simmering water.
2. Stir constantly until the mixture is smooth. Remove from the heat. It actually helps to put the bowl on the saucepan before it's simmering, it helps it warm up, just make sure to check for over bubbling!

3. Preheat the oven to 200 C. Greece 12 deep muffin tins heavily, including rims.
4. Sift the flower, baking powder and cocoa into a large bowl. Stir in the sugar. At thisd point you could add something extra, like chopped nuts or something.
5. In another (smaller) bowl whisk together the milk and eggs.
6. Pour the chocolate mixture and milk over the dry ingredients. Mix lightly until it's all just combined. Do NOT over mix, your muffins will have a harder time rising, and will be heavier.
7. Divide the mixture between the prepared tins, I like to put about two soup spoons full in each tin, to let them rise. Bake for twenty mins.
If you have some left over mixture (I had plenty!) you can do one of two things, one, is to use more muffin tins or, a sandwich tin and make a thin cake!! :o)

Unfortunately, everything got eaten before I could take a picture, but a good way to serve them is on a nice plate stacked in a pyramid shape, with icing sugar.
You can, of course also ice them if you wish. beware, they REALLY rise, because of all the baking powder.

I hope you enjoyed this little post, if you make these muffins, let me know how you got on in the comments!! :o)

Hey every one!
So, today's a blog post with pictures from my newest video, 'Crackle tips nail tutorial'. See products, and nails!! :oD

                                       All the polishes used.
Beauty UK's shatter polish in no. 2 'Goth'
MUA Professional line Nail Quake polish in 'Shiver' (bad name for this one, me thinks)
Wet n' Wild's Nail colour in u71520 'Shiver' (much better suited to it's name)
And finally, my all time favourite top coat, BarryM's Base coat, Top coat and nail hardener.

And how the nails turned out......
                                The left hand...
                                     And the thumb.
And the whole hand, it kinda looks like animal print, doesn't it?
                           The right hand....
                                        The thumb.
                                            And the whole hand. :o)

My new book series and pictures from the first story

Hi every one!
So, my idea for a new series was to read small children's short stories, a bit like an audio tape, but with pictures.

The first story I read was from the 'Lucie Attwell's Annual' from 1973 which was my mums book when she was little. it's filled with short short stories with gorgeous pictures by Mabel Lucie Attwell.

Here are some pictures from the book and the first story, which I read in my video.

Here is the brilliantly seventies front cover! :o)
                                           'The birthday tent'
'When Joanna woke up the following Saturday, it was drenching with rain.'
'The prizes were presented by the Lord Mayor, Mr. Badger, outside Joanna's tent.'

I Hope you've had fun looking through some of the illustrations from this story, and if you haven't already, why not check out the video where I read the story they go with? Please give me feed back, as to whether it was good or if you have any suggestions on how to make it better! Here's the video:

The birthday Chronicles pt. 1

My birthday adventures so far...
So, today is my birthday!!
Hurrah!
First thing this morning my sister had a surprise for me... we went to oxford!! We spent most of the day walking around, going in and out of shops,  having a picnic lunch and searching for a cafe and a hill. When we eventually found the cafe we had baked goods (me a piece of chocolate cake, her a scone with cream and jam) and wondered back over to the railway station to catch our train (with reserved seats over a table, oo er!) back to Paddington, London.
She bought me a variation of lovely things, so thanks sis! :o)
I just thought I would share with you my birthday outing and let you know that I’m officially a teenager! Yay! :o) I hope you all have a lovely day, I know I did, I'll leave you with a picture from last years birthday trip, staying with my eldest sister and going to a roller disco...

the over view of the face... excuse my bad expression.

                                                            slightly closer in.

the eye..... it has a sort of downward flick, in a shimmery paynes grey.

I hope that gives you an Idea of what the eyes look like. as I said, I think it would look good with a coral cheek maybe, with either coral or light pink lips. :o)
